So many nice things...

Halloween 2007

I was just thinking of all of the nice things AK did for me today. (I've already told him, and while I was telling him, Dori reassured us his "love language" is definitely not "words of affirmation".) He began this pleasant day by making sourdough pancakes. At around lunchtime he picked up some empanadas. He drove us all around to Davis County (to have a fun day with the 'rents, who blessedly took the boys to a movie! they are quite amazing too...for another day) and around town. He called the L's to invite over for AK's good BBQ chicken and an awesome bike ride (Dry Creek to Bob Sled), which was GREAT! And he bought me some fro-yo*. And then he put away the bikes and let me shower first. What a guy!

*Lorimer's have introduced us to great fro-yo just a long walk away from our house! $1.50 for 8 oz. and four flavors (PB, Vanilla, Chocolate, & Rasp. Cheesecake tonight!). It's not Golden Spoon, but I think the Phelps will have happy. Yeah for the 14th.

P.S. I totally bailed on the Little Red Riding Hood bike tour today. It was forecast to be 39 degrees and potentially raining. I got a fun 4 mile jog/walk with Kate this morning instead, and that awesome aforementioned bike ride (1.5 hour, quite intense!) instead. I think I burned off the Barbacoa Veggie Burrito "carb load" I did last night.
