Earliest Memory
My earliest memory is in front of our Bountiful house. So, I must have been 4. Well, I was in the front with the dog Honeybun, and she/he was licking water from the gutter, and I thought that looked like a great idea, so I got down beside her and starting licking the gutter water. Ellen Traeden, our across the street neighbor came over and went crazy on me, because it was disgusting, yes, so I was very ashamed and I don't think I have ever tasted gutter water again until this day. I have some vague memories of someone getting their tooth pulled by a door downstairs in the bountiful house, and of John, the next door neighbor, and my first crush (I thought he looked just like Ponch from CHiPs, but I thought it was so funny that John was his name and John was Ponch's partner! I remember their dog, especially the dog bed, and making Christmas ornaments with John's mom, who I really liked. I think I remember hiking to the B with her too. Yea, I watched CHiPs when I was 4, nice... it was probably right after Charlie's Angels, nice...I also know I "drove" the van and crashed into the Traeden's wall, by releasing the brake, I don't really remember that though (blocked memory!).

Halloween & Lobster

Holden the Monkey & Owen the Dragon Halloween Night

AK & Tyler

Annette & Tyler
We had a very eventful Halloween season. We hit the scarecrow festival (so great, my favorite), Red Butte, the Beacon Heights Carnival, our ward "Harvest Festival", and Kate's annual kid party! We loved trick or treating and the candy still survives as a great treat bribe! Tyler surprised us all with a visit and 10 live Boston lobster (Dorchester lobsters to be exact, or so I believe). It has been many years since we have seen him. It was fun for the boys to put a name with a face and see how tall they may be someday! It was fun that Andy (at almost 6'3) looked really short next to his big brother.
I have just been in Houston for a long weekend Junior League training thing. I know a lot more about fundraising now. We stayed at the Houston Galleria Westin, the Galleria is a mall on par with South Coast Plaza and the biggest Louis Vuitton store I have ever seen. I convinced everyone to hit my favorite dining places that we don't have in SLC, Cheesecake Factory & Daily Grill. I was too tired to do much shopping but I really liked the David Yurman jewelry (hint, hint, I wish). I am getting ready for the drive to the OC tomorrow for Darcy's wedding. I can't wait to see the California family, and I saved up my shopping ammo for there. I am emphatically grateful for my babysitters JoJo, Robert, Linny, & Dori, who will be tending! The boys are excited, but I am nervous and sad to leave them again so soon. I will get over it.
