FBI Agent Owen & Disguise Man Holden

This photo was taken today as we headed our to Creer's to see baby Amanda Jane (AK hadn't met her yet, and I can tell you, he was smitten!). Owen & Holden were so good shopping USA Baby and Babies R Us with mom on Friday that they got to go to the dollar store and pick something out. Owen got this FBI agent set, he promptly threw away the holster (since he didn't have a belt on) and the badge and other bits, kept the gun and glasses and now wants the policeman set. This is the best bargain/bribe tool that will last maybe a week and costs $1 - gotta love it. I do this all of the time though, which means we are constantly throwing away these junky toys, but hey, a buck is so worth a nice trip to the store anyday. So, Andy tells me he feels like we are having our first child all over again. Initially I think its so sweet since its a girl and all, but then I realize, oops, it's probably because I am buying everything again. Yes, we've got a new stroller (we ebay/gave away the other 5 we had with H & O - we still have a double jogger fyi), a new carseat, pack and play (it's super deluxe and cute and will serve as her bassinet since the CA people have 'the' bassinet) new boppy, high chair (given to us, we've never used one!), tons of clothes, of course, bows, stockings, blankets, etc. since the old blue stuff just won't do (ask Katie!). It's been too fun! Now we have to get the basement done (which we just might before the baby comes! the drywall is up and mud & taping are done by Wednesday!) and then get the baby room set up (it is currently serving as a play/video room for the boys). They are so excited and have even started calling her baby Jane (instead of baby Marlene, the old name). They know they are not allowed to say/tell people her real first name, but who knows, maybe we'll stick with baby Jane.
