She's Crawling!

It took a year and 5 days, but she's crawling! Just two days ago we noticed she was getting up to a sitting position (she'd be sitting up when we'd come to pick her up out of bed, and I kept thinking, did someone come in and sit her up, or did I leave her like this?). Just a little update...so I can mark the date.

P and I had a wonderfully quiet, whatever we wanted to do, weekend. We hung out with the Phelps and the L.A. crowd (my brother and sister Liz' families). Also the Blakes and Schweickerts. The boys arrived Monday afternoon, when P was feeling ultra father neglect, she would not let go of him! Yesterday I got in a bike ride (backbay to Turtle Rock to Poppy on Ocean to Irvine Terrace to Bayside, for the record) and then we hung out at Fashion Island, ran into old neighbors and spied some high school peeps, Wahoo'd, then headed to the beach for a few hours. AK planned on surfing with H yesterday, but H didn't want to go. We went swimming at Rachel's and H even braved the high diving board a few times (O stuck to the low diving board, thank goodness!) and P loved the kiddie pool (which my kids were envisioning was for kitten kitties not little kids, it was cute). Stone Fire Grill and little Nacho Libre and Ice Castles and quickly to bed.

This morning we've done the Island walk with Dorothy H. and are ready and waiting to go to Irvine Park to ride the train and see some crazy animals. AK is surfing San Onofre. Pictures coming soon...
