Paint by Number Seascapes

Inspired by the latest Better Homes and Gardens magazine and the beach house, which I love, I thought I could also collect a wall of paint by numbers and try one on my own. So I just ordered my first kit which I thought would be fun, of the above shot of Catalina island. This is totally reminiscent of Good Will Hunting for those of you who've seen it (edited and non-edited versions).

In other news, I am having a hard time, walking/controlling my body as I did a 40 mile road ride this morning, which was about 20 miles downhill to start then 20 miles uphill and against the wind. So after speeding away and enjoying an easy ride and then really needing that energy to get back home! It was worth it all the way, but my body is paying for it. No hiking with the family today. Our "leader", my riding buddy Susan's husband, is an ironman, literally for the past few years he has done the ironman. Last weekend he did a triathlon and next weekend he is doing another. So as I was dying and nearly home, and Susan was escorting me to the end of our trail, he veers home and tells her, "I'm going running now". I wouldn't have been able to run if someone was waving thousand dollar bills in my face. I got home and collapsed. Well, here's to the next ride - it's just my thing.

But seriously, his an Ironman and you are an IronMOM. 40 miles?! Are you crazy? That is awesome.

For pre-sale, it depends on your spending with your Nords card. We should've been invited, I think, but our Nords mail was all screwed up. Except boy's seem to be able to do it whenever with suits and stuff. Next year, I will for sure pre-sale shoes, but probably still go for the fun and experience:)

I've seen that done before and love them! Are you painting them all yourself?

Anet that picture is beautiful. I loved to see your project when you get it down. Where did you order it from. I have never seen big ones like this. I have only seen the little ones for children at Michael's to do. Good luck and I would love to see it when it is done.

Annette...this comment hasn't much to do with paint by numbers, just wanted to say hello to my new Boden buddies! Isn't their stuff perfectly whimsical and fresh? $15 for sneakers, you say?? Way to go, girl! So glad to have a new friend in the blogiverse.

I've just figured out how to have my photo with a comment. Is it okay with you that your/my precious PJ is also in the photo?
