Bike Ride

It's 8:05 in the morning, I am at Kate's, breaking the fast, since I was on a bike ride but all but one of her kids wasn't awake when I arrived at 7:45 or so. I love my new winter bike pants and shirt though, since it is pretty cold. See how boring this is totally not worth it right. I have blog-block now. But Kate found a really funny lady blog you've got to check out. My personal fave is "ghetto pinata" since we love our birthday pinatas, and her newest post. Here she is.

So, about the blog fast, it was good. I blog stalked a little, but really did enjoy spending more time reading to my kids at bedtime and not being a zombie-mom the second AK walked in from work until I went to bed. I've read a lot this week. I am reading "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie for book group. It's a little cheesy, but a good reminder for me to listen better and not criticize. And I am nearing the end of 'Jesus the Christ' by Talmage, which I have been reading all year (since the Stake President recommended we read it). And of course the final stretch, well sort of, I am starting Alma, in the classic night time read the B of M, which I am trying to finish (5 pages a night and it'll get done) so we can start it again in January with the lesson plan of Sunday School. I sound churchy huh?

On the kiddos, same old, same old, so we need some pictures. I bought batteries yesterday, so no excuses. I will bring the camera to the soccer games, and take some of P too.

See without this blog thing I can't even remember what we did this week, and I don't find myself wanting to do anything interesting for fear of nothing to blog about. I am sort of kidding here. The leaves and thus mountains are really yellow and pretty right now. And I have $5 in my pocket.

I haven't blogged all week due to family in town and loved it. No pressure to check for comments, or wondering why so and so hasn't posted a comment. I may never blog again or at least only once a week.

I am so impressed with your biking adventures and routine. I did miss seeing your pictures though! But I have one question- what's up with the porno music? (It was on a song by Peg)

Brittany - I think that may be the song I love from 'So You Think You Can Dance?'. Oops.

Oh no! Peg by Steely Dan - that is our favorite. We love Steely Dan, you've got to check it out, it's old school 80's.

AAACK! That's ME! When I saw your nice comment, and checked out your blog, and saw your link to me, I TOTALLY felt like a celebrity. Except, you know, NOT. Because celebrities aren't lame.

Nice to meet you. : >
