Bunch Vanilla Syrup
AKA Buttermilk Syrup (Wixom 4th of July party, I believe)
melt 1 stick of butter
add and heat
1/2 cup buttermilk or milk
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
when hot and yummy
add and mix in 1/2 tsp. baking soda (makes it all nice and foamy)
Especially yummers on Sourdough Pancakes!

This IS an awesome recipe. Bailey (our 10 year old) makes it every time we run out. I have to give credit to Laurel Wicke though...we stole it from her...thanks Laurel!

Many, many, many thanks!!! We'll definitely be pulling out the sourdough starter Friday night and whipping up some syrup for our Saturday breakfast!
