I swear the Gap (and J. Crew for that matter) stalk me and figure out just what my soft spot is (embroidery, flowers, pink, polka dots, cute onesies, embroidery, stitched on stuff, overalls, tights, anything, you get the picture) and hits me in the spot when I least have the budget for additional and very unnecessary clothes for any of us (well since I have been wearing the same BR skirt for almost 10 years, and just suffered it's first rip I might be in the market when the budget returns). Too much information, but the Gap is killing me! And saltwater sandals! This dress and the tights and the sandals makes me almost actually want to teach her to walk...but not quite. She is scooching around though, using her little baby Einstein tower thing as a walker - quite clever that little one. And I'll bet Liz J. is thinking "Oh Brother, there goes Annette on her campaign against the Gap and all things/companies that treat people like slaves again"...yeah, I am a flip flopper...but I haven't bought anything yet...

Ok, the funny thing is that today I saw that SAME outfit on gap.com and thought I need it for my baby immediately!! I too am a lover of pink and polka dots - hence the theme of M's 1st birthday party. Your blogs are awesome!
Since I have no budget or money, I can't even look! Poor Isabel needs some clothes of her own...
Okay I saw the same thing today and I was thanking my lucky STARS that I don't have a baby girl or toddler girl anymore. That new Gap line is NOT to be resisted. If you can think responsibly and hold to your principles (sweat shops, etc.) in the face of a little green dress with polka dots, you are my hero. Ha ha. Having a baby boy and a girl in big girls sizes saves my budget.
ps - "The Gap stalks me" is one of the funniest headlines ever.
You already know my love of saltwater sandals. Calling in all that I've shared with you kids that do not fit any longer-send to P. Alert to Jody, finding any on sale in your neck of the woods?
