It's Late, I'm Weary, Sick but Need My Own Update

• Phasing out of JL, yet having to put in 4 hour nights (or an 8 hour Saturday a week ago) is tough. I enjoy it, and I love the cause, but it's a bit redundant for me personally (with Relief Gang) and I am pretty done with having yet another meeting of this that I am not 100% into right now.
  
• I am still coughing up a storm, no end in sight, but my new strategy is to NyQuil at night, feel goofy in the morning, and sweat it out by day? I have only done this twice and the NyQuil is freaking me out.
  
• The dog is cute. It's quite the responsibility, but her soft fur and sleepy snores and excuses to walk the boys to school and pick them up is fantastic. We are developing quite the land mines, with the snow prohibiting us from the desire to immediately pick up the poop rather than head back inside, so beware of the back yard for now. She is getting friendlier, which mean a little more nipping and jumping up, which is quite undesirable with the little ones, but we are working on it.
  
• The kids are doing great, plugging along. Holden did a report on Orville Wright, wherein he read a whole Wright Brothers book, and presented it to the class in full costume (his navy sportcoat, and his dapper cap) and enjoyed it. The boys also turned in reports to Spanish class, Owen (or Marco as he is known in class) reported on Uruguay, and H (or Diego) reported on Argentina. AK helped them with those and they were quite proud of their work and knowledge. Penelope digs her dance class. She is quite entertaining as she is an excellent student and simply adores and emulates her teacher as much as possible. I can't believe she's almost 3!
• AK is doing well in work, still awaiting the FDA approval, but working just as hard on what we call "selling the disease" to the Docs and "decision makers".
• No picture, just a boring update, mostly for me, because I am definitely too weary to write it in my "real" journal.
