Pizza Making & Garden Vegetables

Our new favorite thing for dinner, is making pizzas. It is so quick and easy (I buy the $59 bag of pizza dough, add water, wait 5 minutes (meanwhile grading the mozzarella, etc.) and voila. Spread the bottled pizza sauce and let the kids decorate. For Andy we have added peppers, canadian bacon, and sausage. The kids love it! The veggies are from our backyard neighbor's garden except the tomatoes are from ours. We'll see if we get many squash? We haven't had a full grown one yet (just one I see growing). Pics for you Dori. Funny story about neighbor, this morning as I was heading for my bike ride late, I couldn't find the pump and AK had ridden last night so I was cursing him with temper flaring and threw the yucky pump in the grass and I hear this "Hello", it was my backyard neighbor Mike gathering veggies in the early morn (they are leaving for a trip). I apologized profusely and told him how much we loved their veggies we had cooked up last night (pictured above) and so we got more. I was even later to meet Susan and still so embarrassed by my behavior, but oh well. I'm human.

$59 pizza dough? And that is so funny about the neighbor! Haha. Just goes to show you never know whose listening, eh?

I was struggling on a little hill this morning on my ride (at the end, ps) and these 2 ladies walking were looking at me like I was going to die or something! I felt like such a dork!

I just read the end of your comment, lol! I felt that way (people looking at me like I was dying) this morning, totally red-faced and sweating and dying and it's the same way we have been going for 3 days a week for a month!

Yay for the pictures! I wish you could have been out back when your neighbor asked if we wanted any. Darling Owen perked right up and with a "Yeah!!!" reply wanted to carry all of them in. When I was trying to figure out how to open the door, he shoved his share of squash in one hand and confidently replied, "I've got it!". He's such a little stud man!
