Soup Wars!
Kate called me out, but I totally wasn't Rowsting her. (If you are not from CDM you may not be able to pronounce this, it's like roast but with a ouw instead of oa, and I am not quite sure how to spell it.) I love Kate. I emulate her. She is my next big sister, yet she is always thinner than me. I mean come on, she worked at Sweet Life, I worked at Sweet Life. She was a cheerleader, I was a cheerleader. She went to the U, I went to the U. She was a Chi O, I became a Chi-O. As newlyweds she lived on Princeton, then we lived on Princeton. She moved to Newps with her husband, yes, a year later, we moved to Newps. I even started stalking on her husband. He worked at Pacific Life, then I and eventually AK worked at Pacific Life. They moved to Utah, then we moved everywhere and then eventually Utah. Her kids went to Holladay Pre-K, then our kids went to Holladay Pre-K. She made soup with Cheese Whiz, then I made soup with Cheese Whiz. Scary huh? I could say the same about my other sisters too, but especially about my next biggest sister Kate. Love and kisses!

Okay- you totally redeemed yourself! I was going to do a blog about your potato soup (ala mashed potatoes called a soup) but I will spare you the heartache... I forgive you and I have to say after I read your blog about the soup... I went to eat a bowl of 'the soup' and it was on the stove... and you are right.. that is a lot of butter & cheese whiz for that matter... it was good while it lasted... but bye bye to Cheese Whiz... in the can and on my thighs.
If you are truly done with the soup, we should get the points on WWF.com recipe builder. That would be awesome!
I'm sorry I ruined the soup for y'all. Don't you think it's funny that I posted the recipe. I think you could replace chunks of cheddar with it right? It's not all bad, I just thought it was fun.
OK -I am waiting for my kids to fall asleep on Christmas Eve, so I thought I would catch up on blogs! FYI Cheeze Whiz (I am looking at the wal-mart brand I am way to cheep to buy the name brand) has 20 less cal per serving (30 grams)than my costco mexican blend shredded cheese. I know it is not better for you but it melts better than cheese in soups and in funeral potatoes. Also the butter and flour is called a roux and is the base of most cream soups! Good thing you didn't put my potato cheese soup on your blog! (I don't want everyone to know my secret!)
P.S. If the soup serves 15 (I think it is more like 2o) with the butter and the cheese whiz its only 200 cal about 4 points. It is great with 0 point veggies. If you like it, you can eat it and stay in your points. I miss Janece will WW ever be the same?
wow if i would have know my cheese chowder recipe would've caused so much of a commotion, I never would have given katie the recipe! i think we may have it on new year's eve and i don't don't feel a darn bit of guilt about it!
